Thank you for your reply. I have since purchased the Wildland Firefighter's
bag to use as a backpack to haul my climbing gear to the rocks. I ordered
it on a Saturday night and it was here on Wednesday! Thanks for the speedy
shipping! I was immediately impressed by the volume and holding capacity of
the pack. I took it out for a field test today. It was able to hold two
climbing ropes, other climbing gear, four bottle of water (did I mention it
was 96 degrees here today!) and other hiking essentials with plenty of room
to spare. I loved the comfort of the shoulder straps which I feel is due to
their extra width. They are wider than most hiking packs and spread out the
forces across the shoulder instead of directing the weight to localized
points on the shoulder. I found the pack to be durable enough to tolerate
being tossed in and out of the car and onto the ground, yet comfortable
against my back as I hiked, and flexible enough to bend with me as I
scrambled over rocks and around trees. My climbing partner was very
impressed with the pack and I will be going on a big climb next weekend in
Seneca Rocks, WVA where I will be sure to spread the word about your
company.
Thank you for making such a top quality product in the USA! I wanted to use
some of my stimulus rebate money to support our economy and hardworking
Americans, so I am thrilled that I found your website while surfing the net!
Please continue the excellent work and continue making your products in the
US as long as you can. Every aspect of the buying experience was great
(website, customer service, shipping and product description/integrity). I
will be ordering from you again. Have a great summer! Thanks again.
