On the portage, this bag attaches easily to the D-rings on the shoulder straps of your Battle Lake Outdoors Grand, Savanna or Prairie Portage Pack providing a secure place to put your map and space for you lunch, raincoat and camera. When you are ready to stow the canoe, the portage pack unclips from the pack and attaches to the thwart of the canoe.
